of late my 3ds max 6 has been shutting down for no reason in mid session...needless to say i am annoyed  :pissed:.  so i went back to the old 3.1 version that i got and man oh man, talk about thin. with little or no tools you can do minimal to nill unless you are just learning. and to hink i was wondering why i gave this version to a kid i was teaching.well to make a long story short, i own 3/6 and the only importer plugin for american mcgee's alice models(the skb not the tan) are for versions 4/5 only.so ticked off with max i go over to maya (now i must say i hate the interface and all around pain in the @$$ to get things done method it uses

Yeup! Thats what i said,lol,i finished something! I worked till 3:00am and finished the script for my animated short. It is intitled Alice! and is about a little girl named Alice(*duh*) who creats a mystery for herself. Starts off really dark with her mutilating her toys...but it has a light harted reason. Will only be a few min long but for a one man job that will still take weeks. I say weeks cause i'm only using one scene(her room) and she is the only character, but it has 12 camera changes. Thats all I can say. =D YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!! After weeks and weeks of anger i finaly got my 3D Studio Max 6.0 commercial edition authorised. Why can't they have a simple system? :upset: Any how, I can now do so much more than i could before(I had v3.1, well still do really)  =) as i can now use almost any pulgin  and can use most meshes out there cause not many people have or use v7 or higher  :fingerscrossed: . i can't wait to see what i can turn out with this as i was ok with v3.1 but limited when doing hair and the like, because i could only get shag:hair/fur and for v3 it's really limited. Now all i need is to figure out the changes that
